Biographical Information[edit]
Jaitone Kelly has pitched in the minors.
Signed by the Arizona Diamondbacks, he was 0-4 with a 6.08 ERA for the 2024 DSL Arizona Black, walking 33 in 37 innings and throwing 12 wild pitches. He split 2025 between DSL Arizona Red (4.66 in 3 G), the ACL Diamondbacks (1-1, Sv, 4.81) and the Visalia Rawhide (6.00 in 1 G). He was then the youngest player picked for the Netherlands in the 2026 World Baseball Classic, when he made the Kingdom of the Netherlands roster. The big right-hander was one of three Kellys on that staff, joining 40-year-old Kevin Kelly (who was pitching internationally when Jaitone was 3 years old) and his brother, Pirates prospect Antwone Kelly.
