Biographical Information[edit]
Jae-hak Lee has pitched in the Korea Baseball Organization.
Lee was picked by the Doosan Bears in the second round of the 2010 KBO draft out of high school. He went 1-1 with a 5.01 ERA in 16 games in 2010 then missed 2011 with an elbow injury. The expansion NC Dinos took him in the expansion draft. He dazzled in the 2012 Korean minor leagues, going 15-2 with a 1.55 ERA, leading the South Korean minors in wins and ERA. With the Dinos making their way to the KBO in 2013, Lee got the team's first win. After they started 0-7 (the worst expansion start in KBO annals to that point), he beat the LG Twins, 4-1, on April 11, tossing six shutout innings. He finished the year 10-5 with a 2.88 ERA, second in the league in ERA behind Charlie Shirek. He was named the KBO Rookie of the Year for his efforts.
