Jack McAleese appeared in 1 game with the 1901 Chicago White Sox and pitched 3 innings in relief, allowing 3 runs. He would not play in another major league game until 1909, when he came back as an outfielder with the St. Louis Browns. He also played 2 games at third base with the Browns that year and batted .213.
