Biographical Information

Hiroshi Hirata was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the first round of the 1993 NPB draft, but he only pitched one game in each of the 1994 and 1995 seasons for the big club. The Dragons released him in 1998, and he signed with the Kintetsu Buffaloes. Hirata failed to made it onto their top team in 1999, and he announced his retirement.
