Biographical Information

Hideto Doi was drafted by the Chiba Lotte Marines in the 8th round of the 2018 NPB draft; the scout was Junji Kuroki. He had a 7.53 ERA in 14 games in 2021, but those were his only appearances for the big club before he announced his retirement in 2023. His 7 saves in 2022 tied Daiki Yamamoto for 6th in the minor Eastern League.
