Biographical Information[edit]
Freddy Sale appeared in one game for the Pittsburgh Pirates at age 22 in 1924. He gave up no runs in one inning of work.
Sale was at the University of Georgia from 1922 to 1924, his time there overlapping with that of Nolen Richardson. While there in 1923, Sale pitched a perfect game against the University of Virginia.
He pitched at Wilson in 1924-25, going 9-5 in 1924 and 11-8 in 1925.
