Biographical Information[edit]
Fred Moore was a minor league infielder who played professionally for the Birmingham Barons, Temple Boll Weevils, Mobile Sea Gulls, Decatur Commodores, Peoria Distillers, Fort Worth Panthers, and Topeka Jayhawks. He worked primarily as a second baseman and shortstop during a professional career that began in 1905 and continued into 1911.
Moore later moved into coaching. In 1915 he coached the baseball team at Texas Christian University and led the team to a 1-11 record in 1915.[1][2]
