Biographical Information[edit]
Faisal Hayat was one of the first pro baseball players from Pakistan.
When he and Musharaf Khan signed with the Saga Asia Dreams of the Kyushu Asia League in 2025, they were the first two Pakistani pro baseball players. [1] He debuted for the Pakistani national team in the 2025 Asian Championship. He relieved Muhammad Zohaib in the 8th inning against China, but he yielded a RBI double to Yun Lu in that inning. Hangang Hou then hit a double in the 9th inning, and he advanced to the third because of a wild pitch. Hayat then surrendered a single to Guandi Zhao, and China mercy-ruled Pakistan. He later succeeded Muhammad Amjad Aslam in the 4th inning against the Philippines, and he completed 4 innings with 2 runs allowed. Hayat was named the starter against Hong Kong, but he surrendered 6 runs in 2 innings so Yu-Hin Oscar Cheng got the win over him. [2]
