Biographical Information

Erick Kimura has been on the Brazilian national team.

He was 0-for-6 in the 2015 U-18 Baseball World Cup and allowed 8 hits, 3 walks and 10 runs (5 earned) in 1 IP, a highlight being a strikeout of Hiroshi Toyoda. He fared much better in the 2018 South American Championship. Backing up Pedro Okuda at short, he was 4-for-6 with two triples, three runs and four RBI for the Silver Medalists. He also pitch a fine game to beat Bolivia (5 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 7 K). He tied Lucas Ramón for 5th in the event in batters whiffed while also leading in triples.
