Biographical Information

Hiroshi Toyoda has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Toyoda represented Japan in the 2015 U-18 Baseball World Cup. As a backup right fielder for the Silver Medalists, he was 3 for 11 with a hit-by-pitch, double, three runs and two RBI. He won 4 Best Nine awards in the Chiba Prefecture University Baseball League, and he joined the Hitachi team in the industrial league after college. The Hanshin Tigers selected him in the 6th round of the 2022 NPB draft, and he went 0-for-7 in 2022. Toyoda spent his entire 2023 season in the NPB Farm Leagues, and he hit .271/.341/.335 there. He then played 11 games with a .211/.211/.263 batting line in 2024.
