Biographical Information

Ed Bahns played for the USA national baseball team and in the minor leagues.

Bahns represented the USA in the 1975 Pan American Games. The Chicago White Sox selected him in the 21st round of the 1977 Amateur Draft, and he hit .212/.365/.273 in 46 games for the GCL White Sox in 1979. Bahns played 88 games with a .260/.386/.393 batting line for the Appleton Foxes in 1978, and his batting line was .236/.318/.370 in 89 games for the Foxes in 1979. That was his last season as a professional player.
