Biographical Information[edit]
Doug Radziewicz won the 1990 College World Series with the University of Georgia; he was named the All-Star first baseman in the tournament. He was drafted in the 48th round of the 1991 Amateur Draft by the St. Louis Cardinals and made his pro debut that summer. Playing as a first baseman and outfielder, he was in their minor league system until 1995 and made it as high as AA. He won the Florida State League batting title at .342 in 1993, .017 ahead of Chris Demetral. He also led in OBP and was named the All-Star DH.
Radziewicz is very into music and at one point was working as a vocal coach after his baseball career ended. He has also been a college coach. He spent most of his life in Somerville, NJ where he settled down.
