Nori hit .477/.575/.748 as a high school senior and his team won its first state title in 115 years. [1] The Philadelphia Phillies took him 27th overall in the 2024 draft, with their first pick; he went between Ben Hess and Walter Janek. The outfielder batted .240/.424/.280 with 16 walks in 14 games for the Clearwater Threshers that summer. Baseball America named him the #9 Phillies prospect. [2] He split 2025 between Clearwater (.262/.363/.381, 37 SB in 44 tries, 11 3B, 66 BB), Jersey Shore BlueClaws (.279/.396/.326 in 11 G) and Reading Fightin Phils (4 for 21, BB, 3B). He tied Rodolfo Castro for 6th in the Phillies chain in runs (72), led in triples (more than double anyone else), was 7 steals behind leader Aidan Miller and was 4th in walks (75). The fleet-footed flyhawk made the Italian national team for the 2026 World Baseball Classic, the first Canadian-born player for Italy in a World Baseball Classic since Jordan Romano in 2017. [3]
