Biographical Information[edit]

Damion Easley was drafted by the California Angels in the 30th round of the 1988 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Rick Ingalls and made is pro debut that summer.

Easley set a Tigers record for second basemen with 99 consecutive errorless games.

Easley was a coach for the AZL Padres in 2012-2014. He was named assistant hitting coach of the San Diego Padres in 2019 and was promoted to hitting coach in 2020.
