Biographical Information[edit]

Cory Scott was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 40th round of the 1995 amateur draft but did not sign, opting for college instead. He was an ABCA All-American as a senior for East Carolina University and was an All-Conference pick after going 5-0 with a 1.52 ERA and 22 saves. He led NCAA Division I in saves. Undrafted, he signed with the Adirondack Lumberjacks of the Northern League and went 1-0 with a 4.89 ERA in 2000. He finished his career in '01 with Adirondack (3-4, 3.90 in 40 outings) and the Albany-Colonie Diamond Dogs (0-1, 2 Sv, 4.50).
