4/8/2018, From the management: We have moved the Bullpen over to a new temporary server and a new permanent type of setup. It's a bit much to explain here, but I think it's working. Please let me know on User_talk:Admin if you see any issues. Thank you as always for your support.
Cornelius F. Daily
- Bats Left, Throws Right
- Height 6' 0", Weight 192 lb.
- Debut May 6, 1885
- Final Game July 5, 1896
- Born September 11, 1864 in Blackstone, MA USA

Con Daily played 12 seasons in the majors, mostly at catcher although he also played sometimes in the outfield and at first base (and once in a while played other infield positions). He normally played no more than 40-60 games per season. In his best year with the bat, he hit .320 for the Brooklyn Grooms in 1891.
Daily was born in Blackstone, MA, right near the northern border of Rhode Island. He played at age 19 for the team based in Waterbury, CT (teammate Ed Daily is sometimes wrongly listed as his brother, but census records disprove this), and came to the majors at age 20.
His major league career was all in the National League except for one season in the Players League. Although he and his namesake both played major league baseball for years, they were never on the same major league team together; in 1890 they both played for Brooklyn, but in different leagues.
