Biographical Information[edit]

Catcher Chris Corbett played college ball at Rollins College and graduated in 2017 with a degree in Computer Science. He was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 18th round of the 2017 Amateur Draft and he played in the Giants minor league system from 2017-2019. Corbett reached the High-A San Jose Giants for parts of both the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

In the spring of 2020 Corbett joined the North Carolina Wesleyan College Battling Bishops in the dual capacity of assistant coach and junior varsity head coach. He remained with the Battling Bishops through the 2021 season. While at NCWC he worked with the hitters and defensively with the catchers. Corbett spent the next two college seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator with the Randolph-Macon College Yellowjackets. Both of these colleges play at the NCAA Division III level.

The Kansas City Royals hired Corbett away from R-MC in 2024 to work as an assistant hitting coach for the Quad Cities River Bandits. He received a promotion to the AA Northwest Arkansas Naturals in 2025-2026 in the same role.
