Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Chet Covington began his career in organized baseball when he was already 28, but still went on to win over 200 games as a professional. Before turning to baseball, he had been a successful boxer, fighting 216 times over 9 years until his wife convinced to find another sport to earn his living.
