Biographical Information[edit]
Charlie Blackburn was a pitcher for the Kansas City Packers of the Federal League in 1915. he went 0-1 with an ERA of 8.62 in 7 games. He was later confused with Verne Blackbourn, who pitched 1 game with the Chicago White Sox in 1921. The playing record of the two discrete pitchers were amalgamated under his name, but Blackbourn was clearly a different person.
