Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Casey Chenoweth played college ball at East Central University which is the same college that Hall of Famers Lloyd Waner and Paul Waner attended decades earlier. Chenoweth played professionally for one season in 2017 with the Eastside Diamond Hoppers in the independent United Shore League.
In 2018 the San Francisco Giants hired Chenoweth to coach DSL Giants hitters. He moved up to the AZL Giants Orange squad in 2019. Chenoweth then joined the Arizona Diamondbacks player development staff as a Minor League Short Season Hitting Coordinator, a position he held from 2020 through 2022.
Chenoweth moved to the St. Louis Cardinals organization in 2023 as a hitting coach for the Peoria Chiefs. He received a promotion to the Springfield (MO) Cardinals in 2024 as their hitting coach where he remained in 2025. In 2026, he was named an assistant hitting coach with the major league Cardinals.
