Biographical Information[edit]
Carlos Rosa was signed by scouts Luis Silverio and Pedro Silverio for the Kansas City Royals in 2001. He made his pro debut wth the DSL Royals and GCL Royals in 2002.
Rosa was originally included in the trade that sent Mike Jacobs to the Royals. The Florida Marlins has concerns about Rosa's elbow and Leo Nunez was included instead.
Rosa signed with the Chiba Lotte Marines for 2011 and retired all three batters he faced on Opening Day, a 6-4 loss to the Rakuten Golden Eagles.
On April 17, 2016, Rosa signed with the Guerreros de Oaxaca of the Mexican League but was released 11 days later.
