Biographical Information[edit]

In his only major league game on September 28, 1924, Buddy Crump managed to go 0-4 with a sacrifice and one RBI. He played in the outfield and made two errors. The New York Giants lost the game, 11-6, to the Philadelphia Phillies.

Buddy Crump was a T5 in the U.S. Army in World War II. He is buried in Section 23A, Site 215 of Raleigh National Cemetery in Raleigh, NC (http:/gravelocator.cem.va.gov).
