Biographical Information[edit]

Bryan Gore pitched in the Texas Rangers system from 1989 to 1992. Though he briefly reached Triple-A (21 IP), he never ascended to the majors.

He was taken by Texas in the 22nd round of the 1989 amateur draft (signed by scouts Doug Gassaway and Rudy Terrasas) and began his career that year. He had two seasons of particular note, 1990 and 1992. In 1990, he went 9-4 with a 2.19 ERA in 23 games (15 starts) for the Port Charlotte Rangers. In 1992, he went 7-5 with a 2.70 ERA in 29 games (8 starts) between the Tulsa Drillers and Triple-A Oklahoma City 89ers. That was his first and only taste of Triple-A.

Overall, Gore went 28-19 with a 3.19 ERA in 103 games (39 starts). In 364 innings, he allowed 337 hits and 100 walks (1.201 WHIP), while striking out 222 batters.
