Biographical Information[edit]

Brad Hildreth played in the minor leagues and for the USA national baseball team.

Hildreth was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 8th round of the1985 Amateur Draft, but he refused to sign and went to college. He represented the USA in the 1986 Amateur World Series. The Baltimore Orioles picked him in the 18th round of the 1989 Amateur Draft, and he hit .231/.300/.275 in 65 games in 1989 for the Erie Orioles. Hildreth recorded a .239/.305/.310 batting line for the Wausau Timbers in 1990, and he was 1-for-11 with the Frederick Keys. That was his last season as a professional player.
