Biographical Information[edit]
Austin Chubb was a minor league catcher from 2012-2015, hitting .213/.278/.312 in 91 games.
Chubb was the hitting coach for the Ogden Raptors in 2016. He then managed the DSL Dodgers 2 in 2017-2018 and Ogden in 2019. Chubb was named Pioneer League Manager of the Year after guiding the Raptors to a franchise-best 54-22 mark. He was scheduled to manage the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes in 2020 before the season was cancelled due to COVID-19. Chubb managed the Great Lakes Loons in 2021-2022. In his second season, he led Great Lakes to a record-breaking year that saw the Loons hit 187 home runs and finish with a 63-57 record. Chubb moved away from managing in 2023 when he served as the Dodgers' Minor League Assistant Field Coordinator, The Dodgers promoted him to Minor League Field Coordinator in 2024 and he remained in that position in 2025
Chubb also gained some international coaching experience in 2021/2022 as the bench coach for the Indios de Mayaguez in the Roberto Clemente Professional Baseball League.
