Biographical Information

Antonio Knowles has pitched as high as AAA.

He is related to five-time Olympic tennis player Mark Knowles of the Bahamas. He was 12-1 with a 2.30 ERA and 141 K in 97 1/3 IP in high school, also hitting .317. The Texas Rangers took him in the 27th round of the 2018 amateur draft, but he did not sign. As a freshman at Stetson, he yielded six runs in 2 2/3 IP. He then transferred to junior college. The Los Angeles Dodgers took him in the 13th round of the 2021 amateur draft.

Beginning his pro career with the ACL Dodgers, he threw 2 shutout innings and was promoted to the Great Lakes Loons, where he gave up one run in two innings. He was 3-4 with a 4.74 ERA for the 2022 Loons, striking out 63 in 43 2/3 IP but walking 36. In 2023, he pitched for both Great Lakes (3-0, Sv, 1.53 in 13 G) and the Tulsa Drillers (2-2, 2 Sv, 5.05), striking out 68 in 58 2/3 IP. He tied Wander Suero for third in the Dodgers chain in appearances (47). He was 3-5 with a 3.62 ERA for Tulsa in 2024, fanning 60 in 54 2/3 innings.

Knowles split 2025 between Tulsa (6-1, 11 Sv, 3.05 in 36 G) and the Oklahoma City Comets (1-0, 9.00 in 4 G). He was one save shy of Texas League pacesetter Landon Sims. Among Dodgers farmhands, only Jack Little (13) saved more games. He then made the Great Britain national team roster for the 2026 World Baseball Classic, ensuring the team kept a Knowles on their squad as they had D'Shawn Knowles in their prior World Baseball Classic appearance.
