Biographical Information[edit]

Anthony Forelli played in the minors and in Italy, and for the Italian national team.

He hit .341/~/.535 as a college junior [1] and .336/?/.589 as a senior [2]. The Milwaukee Brewers took him in the 26th round of the 1999 amateur draft. He batted .294/.356/.408 with 17 doubles in 64 games for the Ogden Raptors that summer, tying Ryan Knox for 10th in the Pioneer League in two-baggers. With the 2000 Helena Brewers, he was at .254/.319/.460 as a backup corner infielder.

Moving on to Italy, he produced at a .310/.418/.520 clip for Caserta in 2001, mostly used as a DH. [3] Backing up Jairo Ramos Gizzi at 1B for Italy in the 2001 European Championship, he was 1 for 13 with a walk and two runs, handling 32 chances error-free, as Italy won Bronze. [4] In 2002, he was the regular third baseman for Parma, batting .231//.331/.433 and fielding .857. [5] He then coached at Glendale (AZ) High School for the 2004-2005 season as an assistant and was head coach of Moon Valley High School beginning in 2007 [6]
