Biographical Information[edit]
Andy Byron pitched briefly for the Clarksville Coyotes of the Heartland League in 1997. He put up a record of 8 wins and 2 losses on the mound and struck out 50 batters, posting a career earned run average of 4.14.
After his baseball days, he became the CEO of a data analytics company called "Astronomer." He resigned in July of 2025 after a video of him cheating on his wife with an employee of the company at a Coldplay concert went viral worldwide. As the camera panned onto him, he tried to duck out of its view, but this only drew more attention, as the lead singer of the band noticed this and said "Uh-oh, what? Either they're having an affair or they're very shy!" The clip went viral and was parodied around the U.S. and the world, including by the Phillie Phanatic and D. Baxter the Bobcat.
