Biographical Information

Pitcher Alan Mills was signed as a secondary phase pick in the 1986 amateur draft by the California Angels and scout Preston Douglas. He had earlier been picked in the 1st round of the 1986 January amateur draft by the Boston Red Sox, but had not signed.

In 2017, he was named bullpen coach of the Baltimore Orioles, staying until the end of the 2018 season.
