Biographical Information

Akira Yano signed with the Chunichi Dragons in 1963, and he only pitched one game for the top team before the Dragons released him in 1966. He signed with the Kintetsu Buffaloes, and he had a 7.50 ERA in 4 appearances in 1967. Yano failed to return to the big club again, and he announced his retirement in 1970.
