September 27, 1949: Sent by the Pittsburgh Pirates to San Francisco (PCL) to complete an earlier deal made on September 21, 1949. The Pittsburgh Pirates sent a player to be named later and cash to San Francisco (PCL) for Bill Werle.
November 17, 1949: Drafted by the Washington Senators from San Francisco (PCL) in the 1949 rule 5 draft.
June 25, 1950: Traded by the Washington Senators to San Francisco (PCL) for Elmer Singleton.
