        A knuckle-scraping submariner, Liska spent 14 years (1936 – 49) in the PCL, all with the Portland Beavers, winning 198 games with a 3.21 ERA and 1,533 K in 3,271 IP. Inducted into the PCL Hall of Fame in 2003.
