Biographical Information

Yuya Nohara played for the Toyama GRN Thunderbirds from 2007 to 2008, and he was drafted by the Hanshin Tigers in the first round of the development phase in the 2008 NPB draft. He was 4-for-15 in 2009, and he only got 11 more at-bats for the top team before he announced his retirement in 2011. He later coached the Thunderbirds from 2013 to 2016 and for Hanshin's women's team.
