Biographical Information

Yuta Ichikawa represented Japan in the 2018 BFA U-18 Baseball Championship. The Yakult Swallows selected him in the 3rd round of the 2018 NPB draft; the scout was Yoichi Okabayashi. He had a 7.50 ERA in 6 games in 2022 for the big club, and he announced his retirement after he went 0-2 with a 8.36 ERA in 2023.
