Biographical Information

Yuichi Nakahara was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the 6th round of the 1976 NPB draft, and he only got 2 at-bats over his first two seasons, getting one hit. He was hitless in 24 games in 1979 (though it was only 12 AB and he did have 3 walks and 3 runs; he was often a defensive sub at catcher), and he didn't reach the big club again before he announced his retirement in 1986. He later became a scout, signing Takuya Asao and Shinji Tajima.
