Biographical Information

Yoshiaki Katagai was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the 2nd round of the 1970 NPB draft, and he only got 12 at-bats for the big club before he announced his retirement in 1980. He later became the assistant batting coach of the Dragons from 1990 to 1995.
