Biographical Information[edit]
Yong-jun Choi has played in the Korea Baseball Organization.
Choi was drafted by the KIA Tigers in the 10th round of the 2020 KBO draft, and he only pitched 3 games with 10 runs allowed for the big club before the Tigers released him in 2022. The KT Wiz signed him in 2025, and he had a 2.00 ERA in 7 appearances.[1] He then represented South Korea in the 2025 Asian Championship. Choi started against Hong Kong, and he pitched 2 shutout innings with a strikeout against Sze-Yue Chan. He then completed 4 innings versus China with only a run allowed. Korea beat China to won Bronze. [2]
