Biographical Information[edit]
Yong-hoon Cho was a pitcher in the Korea Baseball Organization. Picked out of high school by the Hyundai Unicorns in the 4th round of the 2006 KBO draft, he went 4-7 with 9 saves and a 3.21 ERA in 73 games in 2007. He was second in the KBO in games pitched. Cho went 1-0 with no runs allowed in six games in the 2007 Baseball World Cup, striking out six. He got the victory against the Australian national team in the 5th/6th place game. In 2008, Cho went 1-6 with a save and a 3.54 ERA in 52 games for the Woori Heroes. Cho had a 4.44 ERA in 25 appearances in 2009, then he missed the next two seasons due to military service. He suffered from injuries, and he failed to return to the big club before he announced his retirement in 2014. He became a YouTuber after his baseball career ended. He committed suicide on a YouTube livestream in 2025[1].
