Biographical Information

Yasutaka Furusato was drafted by the Hanshin Tigers in the 4th round of the 1989 NPB draft, and he went 2-2 with a 3.51 ERA in 1991. He allowed 5 runs in 3 innings in 1992, and he pitched 11 games with a 8.36 ERA for the Bristol Tigers in 1993. Furusato never returned to the big club before he announced his retirement in 1997.
