Biographical Information[edit]

William Rogowski played as a first baseman in the Wisconsin State League for 3 different major league team's organizations in just 2 seasons. He began his minor league career in 1951 with the Class-D Wisconsin Rapids, an affiliate of the Chicago White Sox and finished the year with the Wausau Timberjacks, a team in the same minor league class belonging to the Detroit Tigers. He played at least 109 games that year and got at least 100 hits and turned at least 53 double plays. In 1952 he joined the Cleveland Indians' farm system and played for the Green Bay Bluejays, appearing in at least 33 games and got at least 39 hits.
