Biographical Information[edit]
Will Hawks was a relief pitcher at Cumberland University and graduated in 2019 with a degree in Health and Human Performance. He continued his education at Austin Peay State University where he earned a master's degree in Leadership and Organizational Administration.
Hawks began his coaching career working with young players during the summer of 2018 in Nashville, TN. The next summer he worked as a bullpen coach for the Falmouth Commodores in the prestigious Cape Cod League. From there he moved on to Austin Peay where he served as a 2020 graduate assistant coach. In September 2020 he joined Lipscomb University as a volunteer assistant coach and stayed with the Bisons through 2022.
The St. Louis Cardinals hired Hawks as a coach for the Springfield (MO) Cardinals in 2023. He coached the Memphis Redbirds in 2024 and served as the Peoria Chiefs pitching coach in 2025.
