Biographical Information

Pitcher Will Dion was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 9th round of the 2021 amateur draft out of McNeese State University. That was the final year in which the Cleveland team operated under that moniker, as they became the Cleveland Guardians the next season. It was thus with the Guardians that Will made his major league debut, pitching the final three innings of a 6-3 loss to the Washington Nationals in relief.
