Biographical Information

Wei-Tai Tsai represented Taiwan in the 2011 World Youth Championship, and the Brother Elephants picked him in the 4th round of the 2013 CPBL Draft; he refused to sign. He was on Taiwan's roster for the 2025 Asian Championship, and he went 0-for-2 against Palestine. Tsai crushed a homer against Chun-Pui Mok of Hong Kong, and he went 0-for-1 against Japan. He was hitless in 3 at-bats against China, and he was Taiwan's starting catcher in the Gold Medal Game. However, Tsai was 0-for-3 again, and Taiwan lost to Japan in that game.
