Volunteer State Athletic Conference
The Volunteer State Athletic Conference was a NAIA conference in the state of Tennessee. The conference formed in the 1948-1949 school year and disbanded after the 1984-1985 school year. The schools in eastern Tennessee left to form the Tennessee Valley Athletic Conference and the schools in western Tennessee left to form the Tennessee Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Conference Baseball Champions[edit]
*Austin Peay St. won the Western Division in 1961, but found it was using an ineligible player, Joe Cincotta, who had played minor league ball. 2nd place Belmont played in the postseason championship series.
