Biographical Information[edit]

Vic Albury played 1B for the Dubuque Packers in 1965, hitting .233. He missed 1966-1968 due to military service. When he came back he was a pitcher from 1969 to 1971, also playing 5 games at 1B. He hit .354 in 78 games (66 as a pitcher) in 1971 for the Charlotte Hornets.

He primarily wore number 20. He was a coach with the Waterloo Indians in 1982-1983 and Maine Guides in 1984.

Albury died of a stroke in April 2017.
