Biographical Information

Tsukasa Watabe was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the 2nd round of the 1969 NPB draft, and he went 3-3 with a 4.28 ERA in 1971. He pitched 10 games combined in the next two seasons, and he recorded a 7.31 ERA in 13 games in 1974. Watabe only got 2 more appearances before he announced his retirement in 1979.

Overall, Watabe was 3-4 with a 5.75 ERA, struck out 46 and pitched 71 2/3 innings in 5 seasons in NPB.
