Biographical Information

Toya Kawaguchi has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Kawaguchi played for the Tokushima Indigo Socks in 2024, and he was drafted by the Softbank Hawks in the 6th round of the development phase in the 2024 NPB draft; the scout was Shogo Otomo. He had a 0.76 ERA in 32 games with 4 saves in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2025, and he completed 6 shutout innings for the top team.
