Biographical Information[edit]
Toshizo Kobayashi signed with the Nagoya Kinko in 1936, and he went 6-for-18 in the fall season. He then hit .269/.371/.378 in the 1937 spring season, and he recorded a .248/.415/.287 batting line in the fall season. Kobayashi then enlisted into the military, and he missed the next season. He played 56 games with a .230/.353/.328 batting line in 1939, and he announced his retirement.
Overall, Kobayashi hit .238/.362/.324 with 125 hits and 6 homers in 4 seasons in NPB.
