Biographical Information

Toshiro Nishibata signed with the Nankai club in 1938, and he hit .191/.292/.199 in 39 games in the fall season. He then went to the Lion club, and he played 87 games with a .170/.298/.177 batting line in 1939. Nishibata recorded a .185/.301/.210 batting line in 1940 and he announced his retirement in 1941.

Overall, Nishibata hit .179/.297/.190 with 98 hits in 3 seasons in NPB.
