Biographical Information

Toshio Nogami was drafted by the Hanshin Tigers in the first round of the 1967 NPB draft, but he only pitched 3 games for the big club in his first seven seasons. The Tigers then traded him with Toru Wada to the Nankai Hawks for Yoshihiro Aiba and Masanori Murakami, and he had a 9.00 ERA in three appearances in 1975. He was turned into a batter in 1976, but he didn't reach the top team and he announced his retirement in 1976.
